Nature's Potion..*]]

by Catastrophic Beauty   Jun 9, 2006

As the trees gracefully sway side to side,
They dance endlessly in swing with the wind.
To the sweet harmony of the birds that glide,
Entertaining all of the whole world within

The fluffy clouds that dwell in our skies,
They are like marshmallows, white and pure.
They have so much emotion they rain their cries,
Releasing to the ground the pain they endure.

Rain pierces and punches the softly put ground,
Surrounding the deep fine roots of the unborn.
Then the plants are born, spreading all around,
Hoping they won't be eaten up, cut and torn.

The plants grow into the beautiful flowers,
That show us the gorgeousness of nature.
That have little droplets of rain when it showers,
And the delicate peddles that shine in pictures.

The dazzling ocean that we all love and fear,
Sparkles so lovely and stunning in the light.
But at the same time its waves can be severe,
Destroying the boats, and anything in sight.

But all these naturalisms show nature's potion,
That's of the world and what beauty lives inside,
The trees,birds,clouds,rain,flowers and ocean,
Are a few lovely things that are known worldwide.

Thanks for taking your time and reading this poem:D. This is the first poem I've written about nature, so your comments are extremely wanted and appreciated.

Wow. Those analogies are simply amazing. It's hard to believe this is your first poem about nature! You seem like you've been writing stuff like this for a long time! Keep it up!
