You keep her smiling
though you arentt there
She laughs till she cries
Though you dont care
She cries till she laughs
Cause it hurts so much
Cuts deep down
they hurt to the touch
some days she happy
You dont get a thought
But other days
In her minds where your caught
She thinks shes happy
Till she sees your face
And she remembers
Shes lost her place
Now she finds it hard to breath
In the dark she curls up with her knees
She remembers that shes all alone
And she remembers that your gone
But thats ok, tomorrows a new day
And she thinks shes happy
Till you come her way
Your messing her up
Tearing her down
Even though you arent around
She keeps on living
Everyday like this
When the pain comes
She just clenches her fists
Digs down deep
To not let a tear show
But they keep coming
Cold and slow
