Click

I flip my phone open,
I wait a few seconds and dial your number.
It rings,rings and i wait,
Your voicemail answers; Click!

I open it again,
I go to texting and start a message
"I really need to ask you something"
No never mind; Click!

I try your number one more time,
My phone running out of service as i wait.
It rings, rings, and rings,
Voicemail; Click!

No matter how hard I try,
Or how much I care.
Nothing I do gets a hold of you,
I'm used to the sound "click".

I dial one more time,
I'm shaking as I wait.
I get your voicemail,
"Where do I stand. Call me back!" Click!

I slam my phone down,
Walk away and pace.
I wouldn't be pissed at myself,
If I had waited 'til the tone to say that before I went; CLICK!
