The Seer

by MemoirsOfMe   Jun 11, 2006

The infirmity of the future
Flows through her veins
The truth and what will happen
Binds her in these chains.

Visions recoiling like blood
In a lifeless body as mine
A shock, a sensation,
Exhilarating yet forbidden at the same time.

As her eyes fall blank into the obsecurity
No one but her can share its sorrow
The legitimacy behind her soul
Keeps her from getting out.

How come no one else sees,
These morbid, saddened dreams?
How are they locked inside her mind,
Nobody to hear her wailing screams?

Only one escape could prove freedom
Only one choice could set her free
Yet she is so bound to this spell
Shes almost blind to see

Her senses are still visible in the mist
But she doubts her abilities
She, fulfilling, helping, other beings?

She looks up to the sky
Where a entity sits above
She wonders if she was blessed with such a gift
Or given a hopeless burden of love
She can't be sure
She can't be right
For thats what her visions are for
They show her the death of life.
