Bring Me Far, Or Bring Me Back.

I thought I had escaped,
The buried ruins from the past.
I guess I was mistaken;
Maybe my jouney wasn't meant to last.

I fear those ruins,
Like nothing of before.
So why am I drifting back,
When I see so many things to fight for?

My mind is a mystery I cannot solve,
Though I have all the evidence to prove.
I won't have to go back there,
But that dream is only to lose.

A battle I must fight.
One side armored, the other not.
How come I have so much faith,
When this darkness is what I sought?

Though Faith can only bring me so far,
Fate can only bring me so far back...

    Wow-Amazing write! I love the rhyme in it and the emotion is perfectly described. My favorite part is the last two lines--They sum up the poem wonderfully---Great work-Keep it up-5/5
