Dreams: do they really come true?
If they did, wouldn’t I be with you?
So in the end they are fake?
More time to take up from our selfish driven lives,
Which are all filled with lies?
Girls trying to find themselves,
When they really only need a friend.
Boys trying to act though and strong,
But break down in the end.
They dream about wanting something more to feel complete,
And I’ll keep dreaming and dreaming about when we will finally meet.
The dream feels so real now,
but then I wake up and have to deal with reality.
But no one can keep you from dreaming about what you want,
For all I know they might just come true,
So I will keep dreaming about me and you.
