The dreamer

by Samantha lynn   Jun 12, 2006

Mourning and sighing alone in her bed,
This quiet young girl has dreams fill her head.
Dressed in m'ld colors, she hopes to reflect
An inn'cent vision, simply angelic.
She'll carry a notebook for letter or song,
And write for the prince she dreams will come along.
Though she tends to mix her fact with fiction,
She admits it a horrid addiction.
This childish actress will never deny
That "the best part of 'believe' is the 'lie'"
Her mind tens to wander off into space.
To the world she'll no longer feel out of place.
Silent, she daydreams while sitting in class.
Some say she' snobbish yet seems made of glass.
Her seeming naive masks just a way to disguise
The passionate fire she holds inside.
Romance in novels to her is ideal.
'aps that' why this pilgrimage seems to appeal
To her. She hopes adventure with bring change,
And alter her dull life to a fairy tale' page.
