I treated you like family

The real you, I chose not to see

I knew how you were from the first day we met
But I decided not to pay attention and tried to ignore it
I chose to be friends with the fake identity
But in the end, you still betrayed me
It seemed like our friendship was a game and you always had to be the winner
I should have been ready, waiting and aware
I never thought you always had to be in the lead
But in the end, you still betrayed me
