Don't Forget to Live

by Todd   Jun 14, 2006

Remember back to when we were young?
When everything was so much fun

But the magic seems to fade
life becomes just another day
and our youth it slips away
routine sets in its place

memories are left behind
childhood friends lost in time
what for? another dime?
seems this should be a crime

Is it worth the price we pay?
turn in our spirit for a shirt and tie
waste away for the rest of our lives
because its what we were told to do

Well this is what i have to say you
put down the pen and clock out early
let your shift be done, try to have fun
raise from the dead and learn to live again
