I held your hand and you took me away. Away from all the pain and sorrow. You showed me the light and gave me my life. You opened my eyes to the wonders of the world and hid away my fear. You held back the dark and kept me safe. You were my guardian, my protector. But to me you were more. Although you weren't allowed to see it like that. You took away my pain only to cause more.
