Jealousy

by simply crissyboo   Jun 14, 2006

Look at her, now look at me,
No- really look, now do you see?
She's so gorgeous; I'm so not,
I'm just so ugly, and she's so hot.
I hate her so much, but she's like my best friend,
He only wants her, will all this ever end?
I doubt that it will, cause she'll always be here,
Always prettier than me, and now I'm in tears.
cause he doesn't see me, he just knows I'm her friend,
And I'm positively sure; all this jealousy will never end.

I'm glad this poem was short, because I think you said everything that needed to be said concisely, and stopped after you were done. So many people keep going long after their point has been made, and drag out their idea until it is stretched too thin. Good poem.
