Pain

Your all she needs
to make it through
another day
yet you to are drifting
so far away

her world that was so bright
now is dark and has no light

she wakes up once more
wishing she'd died the night before

once tears of happiness
are now tears of pain

she hides in the darkness
to ease her pain
cuts herself over and over again

    I like the change of pace that this goes through a couple times. It's not one consistent pace.
