But, its not a dream,
Its the reality,
I guess we both knew we were never going to last,

Trying to stop the tears from falling,

Even this morning,
We made all those plans.
Eyes red and swollen from crying,
But it won't sink in.
I can't picture you being with anyone else,
Holding another girls hand,
Kissing her, doing the things we used to do,
You shouldn't be with her,
You should be with me.
I know you so much better than anybody else,
You know me inside out.
Touching my finger with the ring you once brought,
But now, like you, its gone.
I still can't help but think we're still meant to be,
The way we were together,
The way our fingers entertwined.
None of that seemed wrong,
With you I forgot all my problems,
They instantly erased..
