A fearful mistake

by Jennifer   Jun 15, 2006

Sitting still, wondering where to go
If only winding back the hours was one way to follow
I wouldn\'t feel so in doubt

A mistake we made, never turn back
Something that could change our lives forever ,
Still very young & in love something so fatal that could make our rights wrong.

Flowing thoughts continue to haunt me
they\'re like ghosts, feeding and moaning
Too much to worry bout, nothing to stop the howls

Its like god made this happen,
We are being punished for our sins
Cluttering my thoughts with all these ifs, buts, and whys

Those wont solve this disaster we have built up inside
Up inside my body, it begins to flow
Its a blessing but only when you\'ve matured to an adult

gods greatest curse,
it\'s intended upon everyone
but him and I are not ready for one

Protection served, yet did no good
Defenses made, although they were like fallen army men
One rush from that white demon, that could make our lives end

Just one time, can change the Sequence
Of everything we know, but now we hide
Nothing to say, its hard to speak & we wonder why

so Hard to realize what we want
& If we stand by our morals, or somehow we fall
Sooner or later, we will become weaker than them all

The speechless mouth, entangled in silence
Along came no word, everything went quiet
His eyes spoke to mine without gesturing a word

Them eyes as green as the grass laying before me
& those eyes that remind me of summer when the tree\'s weren\'t at all dead
Those eyes that use to flicker like the stars above my head, Now they shine down like hell below

A remark is said, but only a mumble
So very hard to figure out whats in that head
When together, it is not just one person\'s fault

It is OUR fault
whatever may happen, we will conquer the world with it
From minute to hour, we shall reveal all our secrets without any expression

Our faces are always still, with either a smile or a frown
& this incident has only brought us down
Speaking in nonsense I am, so here is a better way to describe what I mean

An accident made,
that will soon make a new life,
Something us young ones do not wish upon ourselves

It begins with two people
& ends with three
its called a new born child, so I shall see what happens, theres no more to tell.
