It's so much more,
this sad reality
it's a stab in the back
it's what you meant to me
that wonderful feeling
between you and me
is now standing here
alone and bleeding

looking up at the stars
its the touch of your fingers,
the warmth of your arms
it's begging you please,
just stay with me
it's watching you turn
and walk away
it's feeling the tears,
still running down my face
it's so much more this sad reality
