Sierra

Lips on skin
you seal sin in
there's a secret on your lips
that no one will ever know

beautiful hurt
you are the epitome
of a butterfly
with the wings torn off
you're too good for this
please don't do this

I've tried to cheer you
my affectionate appeal to you
I wish I was there with you
instead of alone in my room.

asphixiation and regret
will tie hands to our pockets
and look at the ground
but I hope that you won't

your Pacific Ocean eyes
cancel out the demise
of the pain of our pasts
that will bury ourselves

and into his ears
you will whisper, he won't hear
but I know
you're my pretty nightmare
please heal my wounds and tears.
