What is Love

What is love?
How is it brewed?
What are the ingredients
That make it so crude?

Why is there love?
Why is there emotion?
Is it just me?
Or do they cause commotion?

Now life is but a book
Read by yourself
But I don't think the author understands
How much the story hurts

Between love and hate
The fear of fate
The pain of rejection
And joy of redemption
It makes me question if
Anyone understands
What I'm going through
I'm just another figure
Plagued with life

So what is love?
The final chapter
In the book
That shed one million tears
And broke a single heart

    this is a good poem, and i can relate.
    though i have to say.. life isn't all that bad.
    i'm pretty effing depressed lately {{as i'm sure you could figure out from my poem}} and have wanted nothing but to die these past couple of days.

    but, really... i would hate to die. and not know what could happen in my life. i'd hate to leave my best friend, and my boyfriend. i'd hate it. so i'm sticking it out... and praying to God something good comes out of my life.
    you should do the same.
