Fallen Woman

by Renee   Jun 17, 2006

A beat across the silky skin
appeal to me and I'll let you in
say the right thing - be my friend
they call us 'fallen women.'

A night out on the town,
another weekend; another spouse
I say "I am single and I'm proud
I have consent to fool around."

They say -
"streetwalkers are never proud."

I have reasons that my well being
is being put to the test
I have problems with being friendly
and putting trust in sex.

I have reasons;
my well being will be fine
I have problems;
that friendly sex will hide.
