Lord, let me sit quietly
and pray to turn correctly
to read what you want me to see
and learn it exactly.

Lord, let me never be too busy
to walk and talk with you
and share your words with others
and learn from other Christians, too.

Lord, let me never forget
what you've done for me
and the lessons you've taught me
every day, daily.

Lord, let me be patient and wait for you
and help me remember I'm too small,
and let me let you take my hand
and lead me through it all.
