I feel like the world is breaking..

Tearing from underneath my feet..

Everyone is so upset..
And I'm so weak..

I see the people in this world..

Starvation..
Murder..
Sickness..
Pollution..
Death..

What have we come to?

There is so much misery..

Can we be happy anymore..
Why can't we all get along..
Is everything that hard?
Can't we all fix it..

Can't we believe..

Everyone is full of so much anger..
So much hate..
So much pain..

Why do we all have so much hurt inside of us?

Does anyone remember a time?
Of when the world was happy..
Of when we didn't care..
Of when we had a heart that joined as one..

Has it always been like this..

The pain and anger within us has grown strong..
Over the years..

There is so much death..
And destruction..

So much misery..

But maybe,
If we work together..

We could be happy..

If we love..
Maybe we can all cease our hurt within us..

And if we believe..

Then maybe this world will be a better place..

Where everyone can walk hand in hand..
And have the kindness to give..
And share..

The kindness to give to a stranger..

And help those who are below us..

Be happy for who we are..

Where we can use our hearts..

Then we can live as one nation..

One family..
