A Need Of Feeling Alone

I've given you one last chance
To prove what you say you stick to
I've given you one last time
To prove what you really are

Luckily that last chance was proved
Showed me who you really are
I've seen in the shadows of your life
And you're not what I deserve

I'm able to walk away as needed
Able to go as I please with you
But now I feel so much better
You're gone forever and you're not my problem

But the quickness you moved on with
Showed me I meant nothing to you
I was free from love, and now hurt with pain
It's dragging me down lower ever day

"Maybe he would be happier with me?
Maybe he's my only one I can't let go"
This is what's been said and done
By you when you're down and drunk

So one last time, you're not my problem
Leave me alone before you rip me into shreds
Everyone was right, you're too good for me
Let's keep it that way...and leave me be...

    ^^ Wow.. I could relate to those lines so much. This poem definitely wasn't what I thought it'd be. But you did an amazing job with it and I absolutely loved it. I'm sorry if this really happened to you, but it'll get better :) You did an amazing job on this poem though! 5/5 Keep it up!

    This is so far from wrong I"m disgusted, Travis. NO ONE is too good for you; you're a great guy. dont you EVER let anyone tell you that or I'll have to hike my Indiana ass down there to you and smack you. I'm sorry this happened to you, but you're so much better without her and finding someone that really loves you.
