Lost

Sometimes I feel so lost in this cold and empty world.
It feels as if I'm sitting on the sideline,
Watching my life pass me by.
You seem to be slipping away from me,
But I'm helpless in this internal battle with my thoughts.
Why does it have to be like this?
What's changed between us?
This broken heart of mine is now adapting to this,
Rejecting all feelings,
Remaining forever emotionless.
