Vampiric Hunter

by Resplendant Rose   Jun 23, 2006

Standing atop a lonely hill
looking down around him
pondering on his next kill
his vampiric features grim

Out of the corner of his eye
he sees a flash of movement
takes his flight into the sky
another human to torment

stealthily landing on his prey
quickly silencing her scream
his thirst he must allay
her blood comes in a stream

then sinking in his fangs
he drinks her body dry
no time for guilt pangs
no time to hear her cry
