A Stare

A stare; a blank stare
If you were only a stranger
I wouldn't care
I'm a man who could use some repair

I tried so hard just to fail
Stayed just to watch you bail
Saved you just to murder my self

A stare; just a blank stare
As if I couldn't care
That you're standing there
Acting like I was never there

I asked you too many times
If you wanted to leave
If you had any doubts
About being the one for me
But you fed me too many lines

So I just stare; a blank stare
Because I'm losing you so effortless
I stayed just to watch you walk away
While you gave me the run around
I kept you above the water so I could drown

So like a dead man stares
So do I stare; a blank stare
