Snap these bones

by Bonnie Rose   Jun 24, 2006

Constantly having to pull myself up
so i'll tie a string to this ceiling
and if it rips,
i'll hang in the raincoats,
on the coat hooks in the hall,
trying to snap myself out of this depression,
these finger bones are about to snap,
look on the bright side,
i looked left and right,
saw a mother and father,
disowning their own daughter,
and a lover and priest
undressing each other
i am trying,
but with curtains pulled it can be hard,
please don't look at me in disgust,
act like you no the scene
when you only know my name,
not anything else,
