Journey to the Center of My Existence

by Timothy r   Jun 28, 2006

Sitting alone in suffocating silence...
Wondering where it will all lead
Loneliness warrants undivided attention
Here in my room built for two

Searching for the little things
That made me secure in my life
Searching for a glimpse
Of smiles long forgotten

Sailing on a ship of fools...
The northern wind at my back
Last dance with Mary Jane
Time for life to move on

A new path now awaits me...
Four directions for which to choose
Scared of what journey lies ahead
Heeding all obstacles in my way

Miles running on forever
Riding against the breeze that gently blows
Trying to find my reason in the world
Never to stop until I find..me.
