Dear Life: Letters of the Lost

by Poetess Lana   Jun 28, 2006

Dear Life,
I hate you. Please die.
Love, my empty heart.

Dear Death,
Take me now, away from
this cold unfeeling world.
Love, my soon lost soul.

Dear Soul,
You are already gone, but
I can't say I miss you.
Love, your previous body.

The letters of the lost,
sending out a signal to
the world and their once-
loved ones.

Dear Love,
You always hated me.
Why?
Signed, my always broken
heart.

Now tell me:
Which letter are you?

I must say, I liked it up to the last two lines. The last two lines were just too cliche for me. I think it is better without them because then people automatically empathize with all of them.
