A Sparkle Of Light So Fine

A Sparkle Of Light So Fine

The touch seems so soft
You rub your thumb over it
And smooth is what you feel
Yet ridges are shown

So very thin
The edges have slight jags
But character is brought by then
And water droops over it as it sages

But as the water dries
There seems to be one or two
Drops that don’t want to go away
A couple that don’t want to move

But beauty is not brought by stillness
But by the suns rays that land upon it
Sparkling and reflecting, showing beauty
Trying to prove to the world it can fit

Nothing but a single leaf
A couple drops of water
And a little sunshine
To bring to you a sparkle of light so fine

The imagery was the strongest point. Not really strong with some of the words but still it did give these....vivid...images about that scene. Had a more positive air than what had been previously expected. Great imagery but still some of the...words chosen did feel slightly...not sure but there's something about some of those words that lacked a certain flair. Still loved the imagery.
