Self Inflicted

by Sam   Jun 28, 2006

I walk into the house,
A strange unsettling silence,
I slowly walk up the stairs to see,
Your self inflicted violence.
I go to grab a rag but you,
Scream out to me, "NO!"
I ignore your cries and pleas,
And try to heal you with what I know.
You scream out, " No don't save me!
I'm a living lie!"
I say, "There's no way,
I'm going to let you die!"
I go to call 911,
You're staring at the ceiling,
The tears no longer flowing,
Your cuts no longer bleeding.
