Love him till i die

by Laffalot   Jun 28, 2006

Standing in front of my mirror,
Looking at my tears fall.
I slip my shoes on,
I look like a tiny porcelain doll.

I flow down the stairs,
To find the man of my dreams.
He stares at me with a glowing smile,
I stare back; my eyes gleam.

He opens the car door and lets me in,
I play with the flowers on my wrist.
He kissed me on the cheek,
And I think about all I've missed.

The ride there was quiet,
You could cut the tension with a knife,
I was too scared,
For my life.

He told me if I ever left him,
he could never live.
I could never hurt him,
I'm all I can give.

I turned to face him,
As we stopped at a red light.
I started to cry,
He turned a sharp right.

The car flipped and hit a tree,
I screamed as the car caught fire.
I turned to my escort,
Who was definitely mire.

I struggled to undo my seatbelt,
My face soaked with tears.
I couldn't reach the button,
I was living out all my greatest fears.

I free myself,
And reach for his.
I couldn't even find it,
I don't know where it is.

I saw it beside him,
Along with three empty beer.
He had a deep cut from the shattered windshield,
I have to get him out of here.

I hopped out of the car,
And ran to his door.
It was crushed to nothing,
When I heard a loud roar.

I flew back about three meters,
And tore my new dress.
I looked up to find,
The car in a mess.

I screamed for help,
But no one came.
I rushed back to the car,
He was up in flame.

I covered my eyes and leaned against a near by tree,
I knew he was gone.
I sat against the tree,
And stared at my only love, until dawn.

I graduated that night,
But I wasn't there.
I shouldn't of let him drive,
It wasn't fair.

I leaned over his coffin,
And whispered in his ear,
"I will love you forever,
see you later dear."

She drank herself to death that night,
they found her staring off into the sky,
With a note that said,
"I'll love him till I die."
