Holding Her Hand

by Joy   Jun 28, 2006

I see you two walking down the street,
Strolling along hand in hand,
You two just seem so perfect together,
It's like you're an unbreakable band.

I wish that I was in her place,
So I could be walking along side you,
But unfortunately she's so in love,
And you feel the same way too.

I know it's my fault though,
Because I was so caught up in myself,
I didn't take my chance when I had one,
And never even considered yourself.

I look back out to stare at you both,
But you have turned and faced,
You kiss her ever so gently,
As you grab her thin waist.

My heart starts to bleed,
As I stare out over the window pane,
Then much to my displeasure,
It starts to pour down rain.

This is just too much to handle,
So I step away from view,
I pray that one day he sees,
How much I love him too.
