I'm Stuck Here Waiting For You.

by christina marie   Jun 29, 2006

I'm stuck here waiting again,
Staring at the phone, my heart throbbing through my chest.
Stabbing through my chest again,
Beating through and pulsing blood into these wrists.

Please call.

I'm stuck there, waiting again.
Waiting by the door, my eyes stinging from the tears,
Mascara smeared about my cheeks,
Crying my mascara tears.

Please come home.

I'm stuck here waiting again,
Sprawled across the floor, pills scattered everywhere.
My hand's reaching for that next pain killer.
The pills aren't working.

Please release this pain.

I'm stuck here waiting again.
Sitting by the bath tub, clenching the razor in my hand.
Just one more slit, and I'll be done,
And then a million more to go.

Please save me.

I'm stuck here waiting again,
Laying in this empty bed, with hands wandering over the sheets,
So many nights flashed before my eyes,
I beg to dream again.

Please let me sleep forever.

I'm stuck here.
Waiting for you.
