Look at the stars...

That was the first thing he ever said to me. He told me it was the Milky Way, I told him he was wrong. He liked my hair. I liked his smile, but was always too shy to admit it. Everyone said we'd be together. I never believed it, but I think he did all along. He entwined his fingers with mine, looked at our dead-bolt hands, and said, "Oh, yours do that too?" That was the first time anyone held my hand. Then we were together. Hand-in-hand , walking down the never-ending, tile-covered halls. He gave me his jacket. He told me he wished that the world wasn"t so bad so that boys and girls could have sleepovers. He couldn"t get enough of me, and I felt exactly the same about him. No one would have thought our mutual innocence would be our demise. I miss who I was when I was with him. I wish we had a cookie cutter romance, perfect in all of its' simplicity, but our love-hate relationship gets stronger everyday.
