Teddy Grahams and Cracker Jacks

by put the [boom boom] into my heart   Jul 3, 2006

I'm sorry that the one you fell in love with is gone
She misses herself too
The little girl you remember is broken down and lost
Your words sting more than you know
Why'd you leave when she needed you most?
She found another shoulder to cry on
But it's never as good as yours
Sins a common feeling for her now
And even though she winces at the feel of his touch
She doesn't stop him
Even she doesn't know the reason why
She watches you never look anyone in the eye
If she could
She'd take away all your insecurities for her own
She misses you more than anything
And all her late night calls are just her way of saying
"Sorry"
