Too bad

Forget me not, they all will say.
For they die for love or some other thing.
Standing way up there is the right thing
Or so they think.
Too bad they never thought it through.

This is the way it should end, they all will think.
They have no reasons to live no more.
One more step,
Down they go,
Pass the floor,
And way down there.
Too bad they never thought it through.

Fragile being, they all are.
My friend, it’s too late.
Your selfishness had lead you
And bye-bye you go, way down there.
Look at your mother
Crying up there.
Too bad they never thought it through.

Foolish, is what I’ll say.
They just leave behind the loving arm
That once gently rocks them to bed.
They also just leave the world they once knew.
Life is too short to end it this way.
There are more to life than what they see.
Too bad they never thought it through.

    You write pretty good! I like it!
    My poem was like describing the problems of the present that barely happened then i remember the past when we both meet. With a little of the lost i was cause she has to travel to meet us. And then finally describe that i never regret of have picked her to be the one of my life. But was just love we slept together omiting sex. We haven't even done it!

    i agree, but u also have to put yourself in their shoes. i used to feel like there was no reason to live... that nothing was ever going to get better. but i fought and here i am, happier than i ever thought i could ever be.

    so, although i completely understand ur point of view, think about what some have to go through (physical and verbal abuse,...)

    amazing poem though. looking forward to reading more!
