I Wish

I wish I could wake up
And never feel the pain.
I wish I could close my eyes
And not think of your name.

I wish I could have held you
And rocked you gently to sleep.
I wish i could have seen you
To kiss you softly on your cheek.

I wish i could have known you
If only for a while.
I wish i could have tolled you
I love you my sweet child.
