Winter Time

by Unknownsolider   Jul 6, 2006

The cold winter chill burns my skin,
It makes me feel cold within.
When the rain falls, from the black sky,
People raise their umbrella's high.

Snowflakes fall, never the same,
I keep walking forward [&&] put my head down in shame.
I watch the kids building snowmen in the street,
I don't look back, I know I have been beat.

The fog is so heavy I can hardly see,
What in the world have you done to me?
The wind is strong,
My path is long.

It starts to get warmer, and the ice starts to melt,
But the pain you put me through will always be felt.
At spring the fog, the ice, the wind goes away,
But the cold I feel will always stay.
