The Class Ring

by Michele   Jul 7, 2006

Close by the door He paused to stand as he took the ring off her hand.

All that were watching he didn't dare speak, as a silent tear trickled down his cheek.

All through His mind ran memories of when they laughed and played.

But now her eyes looked so terribly cold for He'll never have her again to hold.

They watched in silence as he bent down near, and whispered I Love You in her ear.

When touching her face her started to cry. He put his ring on and wanted to die.

And just then the wind started to blow, as they lowered the casket,

Deep in the snow.
