A Second Calling For You

by ADyingProphet   Jul 8, 2006

I miss you as the grass awaits the wind or as the morning sky awaits the sun.
Although I look for you in every doorway, I find only the darkness in my heart.
In every crowd, I long to hear your voice.
I watch the seconds slip by, knowing you are not in my embrace.
My life without you is like a ring that lost its own diamond.
My eyes in the morning are useless because all day they look at things I don\'t care about.
My eyes at night work because every night is just as bright as day when I see you in my dreams.
I search every corridor believing my desinty is in them.
To me you are the cynosure of worth.
Drops of tears fade away on the glass of our memories.
Every hazelnut sunset reminds me of your almond kissed skin.
I\'m waitng- with a sorrowfelt heart-,
waitng for when our minds rejoin in ecstasy,
and our souls touch again with an immense rapture of joy.
