Music

by Izumi Nightroad   Jul 8, 2006

So sweet
Tender and loving
Itâ??s what you make it
With rage it is huge and powerful
With love it is soft and tender
Itâ??s what you make it
Some hold the talent
Others donâ??t
Music is what you want it to be
It can be awesome
Or tiny
For some it is life
So many people make and have made music
But yet society continues to pass them over
Why?
Is it because of the new lover for rap rock and roll?
I donâ??t have anything against music
But the people who abuse it
Ruin it for everyone
Music is something you make
And to be taken to heart
And have pride in
People who make music
Are no better or worse than those who play sports
For they do what the love to do
And we do what we love to do
They love to play
We love to create
Would the world really be something without music?
Never being able to
Sing your children to sleep
Listen to your favorite bands
Be able to have the relaxation of it
Hear the love songs on Valentineâ??s Day
Hear Canon in D at your wedding
Attend school dances or your senior prom
Music enlivens moods
It relaxes
It treats others and helps
Music is everywhere.
But you have to be able to have the ears to hear it
Everyone has ears, but can you hear it?
When tapping your fingers on your desk
Is it a certain rhythm or song beat?
When you walk
Is there a certain spring in your step?
When you hear people banging on things
Do you hear noise?
Or do you hear something else?
Music is everywhere
Itâ??s all around us
Every moment
Of every day
You just have to be able to hear it
Itâ??s not hardâ?¦just try
Music is a wonderful thing
It is one of the many spices
And gifts of life
