It's Not the Answer

The physical pain will not take the tears away,
The cuts will not make for happy days,
The blood covering your secret blade,
Will not suddenly make your sadness fade.

The hiding and deception won't give you a smile,
Just prolong your dejection for a while,
The remains of scars will follow you round,
To bad memories you will always be bound.

If you take the finishing step,
Know its a choice you will always regret,
When you find out what happiness was all about,
Too late, you chose the easy way out.

    So true, so true. i used to want to kill myself then my really close friend helen got me out of it. she showed that happiness will come back to me. i really like ur writting. it tells a whole story with such few words. really good.
