The Fairytale - Part 1

by Darkened Rose   Jul 8, 2006

The meadow is clear
No one do I see
Nothing seems to be near
Everything seems far from me

The cloudless sky
Is so clear and blue
Birds fly on by
So innocent and true

The trees sway in the breeze
The flowers stretch toward the sun
You can hear the buzzing of the bees
While sitting in the warm sun

As I sit in this meadow
My mind starts to wonder
Do I stay or do I go
This my mind begins to ponder

I lay down on the ground
Beneath the warm, bright sun
No one I see is around
So I drift asleep under the sun

While I'm laying there
Sound asleep I lay
I hear something from over there
Something coming from that way

I sit up so slowly
Not knowing what it could be
While I rise up slowly
You turn and look at me

From the look in your eyes
I grow weak in the knees
Only hearing the buzzing from the hives
From the lively working bees

....to be continued...
