A Mother's Loss

by Shadow   Jul 9, 2006

The child was lulled into an endless sleep.
His breathing stopped, his body pale.
The weeping mother surrounds the child with her warm arms.
She stands alone, and takes out the item which will conceal her death.
Crimson droplets pour to the ground like solitary tears.
The quiet Earth cries for mother's loss.
Crystalized tears in form of flakes silently blanket the ground,
covering the two figures with silent white tears.
