The night you left

by andrea madigan   Jul 10, 2006

The night you left
still dwells in my head
I tried to revive you
but you were already dead
I fell to the floor
screaming in disbelief
Two years later
I still feel grief
What if I found you earlier
would you still be here today
i blame myself all the time
those feelings won't stray

The night you left
free from this world
where do i belong now
I'm daddy's little girl
What about my future
what about my wedding day
who's going to be the one
to give me away
I can never replace you
you are one of a kind
The night you left
will always linger in my mind
