Life, In the moment

by John Fleece   Jul 11, 2006

Always live life in the moment
Take every second
Leave none to waste
This may be your final breath to take

In the moment
Giddy inside
Going for that kiss
Or that rhyming that line

In the moment
Never look back
You may not like it
You can't change the past

In the moment
Trust your instincts
Do your passions
In that moment, nothing else happens

Breathing hard
Pumping double
See the chance
Make it worth the while

Win that race
Make that poem
Inspire others
In that moment

Achieve greatness
Discover a skill
Live life in the moment
Or you never will

I'm sorry, but sometimes a person is too scared to live in the moment. What if the person's mind is so dark and so accustom to tormenting the person it belongs to? What if every step that person takes, someone else is there to critisize? Sure, we don't have to listen, but it's tempting to hear the cries of society.

I tried to capture the moment. All I got out of it was regret, an unwashable dirty, a guilt-trip. I want to go back and erase it all. It'll be like a scream. A scream that rings in your ears days and months after the day it resounded the earth.

    I'm sorry.
