Teenage mums painful memories

She regrets sneaking out and drinking to much,
but all she needed was some love.
how was she to know,
that he wouldn't understand the word no.

when she told her parents the news of her pregnancy,
they called her a .s.l.u.t. and at once she must leave.
with little money and a bag of cothes.
she set out to find her baby's future home.

searching for a job, choosing names,
ignoring peoples look of shame.
she can't wait until her baby finally comes.
she can't wait until she's a mum.

when the day for her baby arrived,
she left for the hospital at quarter to five.
the birth was painful but quick,
before she could see her baby, the nurse said, doctor, look at this.

the nurse said, i'm sorry,
but there was nothing we could do for your baby.
and the nurse just let her cry,
not knowing that the only thing the girl had lived for had died.

Wow...that's intense, and really sad. It's ver well written though. Nice job! Take care. -Rach
