One moment

Can you recall that moment when your heart stopped in despair?
A hand that is reaching out for help but there is just no one there.
A pause in time and tapestry, reserved for here and now.
A glimpse into reality, preserved to those who bow.

Can you recall that moment when emotions slipped away?
When axiety introduced himself as someone who's here to stay?
A twist of fate, a turnaround, but a warrior within your heart.
Are you at the end of the gate or is this a brand new start?

Can you recall that moment when you let go of all that's dear?
Are you visualizing glimpses of this or is it still very unclear?
When did you open the palm of your hand to let go of what is yours?
When did your dripping rain turned into thunder that roars?

Can you recall that moment when you signed a contract in vain?
Why would a human being replace individualism with pain?
Always susceptable to trickery, can't we recognize defeat?
Not being able to retrieve the original, regardless of endless pleads.

Can you recall that moment when the truth hit you like rock?
Failing to see the consequences, hindering you like a block.
Bluntly shaken by how this happened makes your mind feels blank.
Trying to distinguish between choice and fate makes life seems like a prank.
