Condemned Girl.

by Hear You Me   Jul 12, 2006

Curled up and
Feeling lonely,
She stares into space,
Her mind glazes over,
She's wasting away.

Her eyes are
So heavy,
She sets down her head,
Struggling to keep them open,
Her lids feel like lead.

They close, but
Relentlessly,
She begs to be gone,
And suddenly she knows,
She's been alone all along.

Reaching for something,
That she cannot find,
She is losing her life,
And noone else minds.

Why is this happening?
How can this be?
This poor girl is lost,
And noone else sees.

She screams to herself,
Deserted in the night,
Her only comfort,
Is in ending this fight.

The weight bears upon her,
A burden so strong.
Depression so deep,
A curse morally wrong.

She cannot confide.
In noone she trusts.
It's not that she cant,
Its the fact that she must.

Hm, that's good, but I think you could really add on to this a come out with a wonderful poem. But hey, that's just my opinion. I read your other poems too, and I think if you extended this one, it could become one of my favorites! =p

    Well, great job!

    Love
