Hope, lust, and love...friends

by Lily   Jul 12, 2006

She doesn't need you, even though you believe that she does, in truth you need her more than she will ever need you.

She gives you pride, love, respect, and indeed you shouldn't get those things. You batter her with words, and she still loves you god knows why.

You slap her in the face with strikes against her friends, and the things that mean the most, and helped her through the rough times.

You were there, but you were always there for the wrong reasons, and now that she has a spine, enough courage to stand up to you, you feel betrayed and like a loser in which you are.

She deserves better and yes; she knows, but she loves you and me; being the good friend that you hate, i stand by her side no matter what, and when you knock her down i will be here picking her up and restoring her to health.

I may not be you, and i may not have someone that makes me feel the way you and her feel towards each other, but i know how to give and receive and i know that i am a good person and i know that no matter what you will never be.
