Rainy Day Love

by Simon Hayes   Jul 12, 2006

If only time would stand still,
Beneath this lonesome window sill.
Raindrops mesh and bond to form
A gentle warning before the storm.
Perhaps upon the sodden street,
Our eyes and minds will sweetly meet.
Within the dream I hold so dear,
We kiss upon the moonlit pier.

Aw, wow! For such a short poem I thought it was written really well. I liked how your flow and rhyming flowed so well together and didn't seem forced. It was a beautiful heartfelt piece. Keep it up! 5/5
